Session Two - October 14th through December 7th.
This is an eight week course where students learn the fundamental techniques of wheel-throwing. This includes elements of centering, pulling walls, attaching handles, glazing and more. Students will be given 25lbs of clay and access to studio glazes for use. Open studio hours will be available for continued practice throughout the session.
A perfect class for absolute beginners and for those looking to gain more confidence with wheel-throwing. This session, students will make things like mugs, plates, a travel tumbler, and a goblet. A surface decorating demo and a glazing demo will also be included. All levels are welcome!
Tool kits can be purchased for $12 on the first day of class.
